If You Are New
Below are some questions you might have if you are new:
What is worship like?
Our worship is from the Book of Common Prayer. Each week the worship will center around readings from the bible, a sermon, prayers for ourselves and the world, and Holy Communion. The service is printed in its entirety, including the music we sing, in a bulletin that is available to all people attending.
Can I receive Communion if I am not Episcopalian?
In the Episcopal Church, all baptized Christians are welcome to receive communion. If you are not baptized, you are welcome to receive a blessing.
How long are the services?
On Sunday morning, the service is usually about an hour. The weekdays Morning Prayer generally is about 30 minutes long.
Is there a dress code?
There is no dress code for attending services at St John’s. We encourage people to remember they are entering into God’s presence and dress accordingly.
When are services?
Sundays at 9 a.m., in person. Morning Prayer Monday - Friday at 9 a.m. via Facebook. Please join us!
